Dec 1992 – Joined Shipping Corporation of India as Radio Officer.

2004       -  Cleared 2^nd Mates exams.

2006       -  Joined Selandia Ship Management as 2^nd Officer.

                             Worked on product tankers and Cemical tankers.           

                   Attended 3 dry-docks as Asistant to attending Superintendent to superwise the jobs of steel

                   Renewals, conversion of product to chemical tankers etc.

Feb 2009 – Promoted to the rank of Chief Officer.

                    Worked on Chemical tankers with Stainless steel and Epoxy tanks.

                    Cargoes carried as Chief Officer:

                    Various grades of veg oils, Lube oils, Sulphuric acid, Phosphoric acid, Phenol,

                    Acrylonitrile , HMD , Caustic Soda, Ethenol, Methanol  etc.

                    As Chief Officer carried out Passivation and Pickling of Stainless Tanks.

Sep 2013 – Promoted to the rank of Master.

                    Areas traded as Master:

                    Gulf of Mexico , Canada, Europe, GOA, Persian Gulf, Arabian Sea.

Nov 2014 till now :  Attended 3 Chemical tankers as Marine Superintendent for following jobs:

• Training of ship’s crew for tank cleaning on chemical tankers.
• Preparing vessel’s tanks to wall-wash standards.
• Passivation and pickling of tanks.
• Preparing vessel for PSC and Vetting Inspections.
