JOB PROFILE –

                              
- Planning, control and coordination of the operational and maintenance requirements of the ship's propulsion and domestic plant and equipments.
- Operation of plant and equipment and performing routine maintenance on ship's systems such as Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Steam generating, Compressed air, Domestic water generating, Sewerage, Fire prevention, Marine pollution prevention and Control systems.
- In charge of stock requirements including consumables, spare parts and tools equipment as required by the technical department, including fuel oils and lubricant oils. 
- Daily monitoring of machinery operations and recording of operating conditions. 
- Coordinate tests on equipment and diagnose faults.

- Ensuring compliance with company SMS, Class, Port State and Flag State regulations.
- Fully conversant with ISO, ISM & ISPS.
- Accessing and recording data about plant and equipment maintenance.
- Provides advice on operational or budget requirements for plant and equipment maintenance.
- Supervision of engine room personnel and in-charge of maintaining engine-room watches at sea and in port.

-Vessel’s takeover, surveying and dry-docking.

 

   Rank Experience-

 15 years experience as a Marine engineer.
