PROFILE: I started my shipping Career in 1973 on board Passenger Liner M.V. Chidambaram of  SCI..

I have been working in the capacity of Chief Engineer Since 1988 and mostly in Bulk Carriers which includes Handy max, Supra Max,  Panamax and Cape size vessels. I have also experience in Container, Car Carrier , Transhipper, Off shore  Supply vessels and Cruise ship. I have not included my experience as chief Engineer from 1988 to1996 as it would be a too long a  resume. Also my experiences in the ranks 5^th, 4^th, 3^rd and 2^nd  Engineer not included.

I am proud to say that , by God’s Grace,  my safety record   is very good.. None of my vessels ever was involved in a collision, Grounding, Fire accident, SEA PIRACY,  major break down of main Propulsion Machinery, Generator Engines, Boiler etc. No human life was lost due to any injury. None of my vessels was ever towed nor was detained by PSC. Never at  any time my vessel went  off - hire.

 By God’s Grace I am mentally and physically very fit. I had never signed off on Medical grounds. By the grace of God I have  never had any Heart surgery or angioplasty , or appendicitis nor hernia nor kidney or gall bladder stone nor any corrective surgery for bone fracture etc.

  Indian, Filipinos, Chinese, Indonesian, Burmese, Sri lankan, Arab and African crew had worked under me. I had sailed with Indian, Asian, British, Dutch, German, Danish, Turkish, Eastern European officers. I am not fuzzy about Indian food.

I had been with JARDINE Shipping Hong Kong from 1999 to 2002 and  Selandia from 2002 to 2007.

I had done 2 contracts  with Wallem

I had been with EXECUTIVE SHIPPING from  2008 to 2015  completing  about 6 contracts..

My last two ships of EXECUTIVE SHIPPING were yard delivered from Imabari Ship Yard, both vessels owned by Shoei kisen Kaisha, JAPAN.1.Jubilant Future, Cape size, Dead weight 200000 MT,  was 2013 built with B&W ME-C Electronic version without Cam shaft.

2.Nord Titan, Panamax  size,2014 built with B&W ME-C Electronic Version without Cam shaft.

Since April 2015 till now I have done 7 contracts on board Gearless Panamax Coastal Bulker M.V. Deccan Pride, belonging to PCL Singapore, managed by K Steamship of Mumbai.

  I did one  contract  during Sep- nov-2017, on board GANGA K, a handy max Bulker with IHI cranes. This ship is owned by K Line ship management (India) Pvt Ltd.

My present net wages is   6.2 Laks Indian Rs- /Month. Last Drawn Wages in Executive Shipping (Foreign Flag) was 9700 US Dollars.

I prefer Coastal ships. Ships plying between Far East / Gulf and India also acceptable.

My Medicals were done at Balaji Centre in -May -2018. Valid for 1 year.
