- Switched from ‘Main Fleet’ to ‘Offshore’ in Nov 2009.
- Sailing as Master on ‘Liquified Petroleum Gas Carriers’ owned by Varun Shipping since 2005.
- First took Command of a vessel in 1996, a Pure Car Carrier owned by Panamanian Car Carriers.
- Employed by Maersk Copenhagen on their Cellular Container ships from 1989 to 1990.

Job Experience in Offshore industry:
- Year 2014-2018; worked on AHTS/DP-OSV in oilfields off Abu Dhabi, UAE carrying out supply and rigmoves of Jackup rigs.
- Proficient in ship handling of Off-shore vessels using conventional Diesel Engines as well as Diesel Electric driven Azimuth propulsion.
- Year 2012-2014; worked on AHTS/DP-OSV in oil fields off Port Said (Egypt) and Ashdod (Israel) in the Mediterranean Sea carrying out supply and other operations.
- Year 2011-2012; Master of ‘AHTS Suvarna’ (200T Bollard pull) chartered to Petrobras, Brazil; operations involving Inspection and Maintenance of floating hoses and mooring systems of FPSO and SBMs at Oil fields in Brazil offshore waters.
- Year 2010-2011; Additional Master/Ch Officer on AHTS Suchandra (198T Bollard pull) working in the North Sea Oil fields conducting Anchor handling/towing operations at North Sea viz. Semi Sub Rigs ‘John Shaw’, ‘Paul B Lloyd Junior’, ‘Sedco 711’.

Employed by St. Xavier’s Technical Institute, Mumbai in their Marine Department as a Nautical Lecturer and Course Co-ordinator for 4 years (1998 onwards). Conducting STCW courses viz. PSSR, Radar Observers course, ARPA and RANSCO (Radar and Navigating Simulator course).
