A) FIRST MATE / CHIEF OFFICER, 2014 – Current

  

    VLCC – 21 months,  Suezmax -12 months sea time

  

     TOTAL: 33 months sea time

 

     Highlight: Yard Delivery of a Suez Max Tanker (MT PSARA I, From NEW TIMES

     SHIPYARD CHINA, Aug 2017 to Sep 2017)

      Successfully undergone many internal and external inspections from terminals, oil

      majors, class, flag and company auditors.

 

     Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the ship operations while the Captain is off duty.
  • Navigational watch keeping & ship handling manoeuvering (anchoring / approaches).
  • Ensure safe Docking of the vessel.
  • Supervise ship’s officers and crew members.
  • Ensuring the safety of the crew & vessel on-board both at sea and on berth.
  • Optimizing and planning cargo loading and unloading operation.
  • Crude oil stowage and handling.
  • Cargo gear, deck equipment and machinery maintenance.
  • Maintaining and implementing ISM and QSE management system.
  • General maintenance, crew management and safety evaluations.

 

B) SECOND MATE, 2009 - 2013

    

       VLCC – 13.5 months, Suezmax – 6.5 months sea time.

 

   TOTAL: 20 months sea time

      majors)  during my tenure as navigational in charge officer)

  • Navigation in charge officer / Bridge in-charge

  • Implementing Environmental and garbage control systems on-board.
