- Sole responsibility for technical management of 7 vessels, fleet included OSVs, Tugs and Crew Boats. 
- Coordinates repair and maintenance functions furnished operating fleet to minimize loss of revenue and cost of repairs, Reviews repair request and compares request with previous work, accomplished on ship concerned and similar vessels, to determine that expenditures are economically sound.

- Prepared, justified, defended, allocated and administered the budget and funds for all assigned port operations and maintenance programs; directing the most efficient and cost effective expenditure of funds assuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget for example before joining the company was spending around 7000 USD a month on a single vessel maintenance cost as most of the work was attended by outside workshop, same was later on done by ships staffs( Chief engineer) by supplying them spare parts well in time and getting update on the inventory on regular basis and maintaining the records for the periodic inspection of the machinery.

I joined Ocean King on a one year fixed term contract to prepare a new offshore support vessel for operations, and taking care of the two existing offshore vessels having sole responsibility for the technical department. The vessel was made ready for operation and successfully delivered to company from Nanjing Shipyard China.
 
- Directly managed ship, fleet and shipyard operations as well as repair programs including cost estimating and overseeing of various contractor methods and procedures using standard marine engineering practices
- Monitored plant performance and operation while also maintaining records, logs and files in regards to voyages and the company’s Safety Management System and International Safety Management Code
- Experienced in surveying oceangoing vessels’ general condition and appraise types of repairs and cost including equipment, labor, and parts in a timely and effective manner.
- Shipyard duties included familiarity of vessel construction, hazardous material disposal and documentation, operations, and maintenance and repair projects while instructing engine department personnel as to the safe and proper operation of these duties.
